CCME has a vested interest in health care in the Carolinas. We work with many key stakeholders and care providers, and we place great importance on our relationship with these groups. We partner with state and local agencies and health care providers and stakeholders to improve the processes and delivery of health care in North and South Carolina.
One of our strongest advocacy partnerships is with The Alliance for Medical Excellence, a group of health care professionals and volunteers who work together to communicate and share ideas on a broad range of health care-related topics.
We have also been involved in the sponsorship of the North Carolina Immunization Coalition (NCIC) and the SC Coalition for Older Adult Immunization to increase flu and pneumonia immunization rates and to promote the reduction of morbidity and mortality associated with such vaccine-preventable diseases.
