CCME is a non-profit company that has worked to improve the quality of health care provided to citizens in the Carolinas since our company was founded in 1983. We are a physician-sponsored organization with a membership of more than 2,302 actively practicing physicians. We have served as the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization in North Carolina since 1984 and South Carolina since 1988. Our Board of Directors includes physicians and consumer representatives from both North and South Carolina.
