CCME Names New Vice President of Operations
Cary, NC – The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME) has named Yvonne Copeland, MBA, vice president of operations. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s administrative operations to meet established objectives for growth and profitability to include business development and communications, human resources and information technology.
“We are very pleased that Yvonne has joined us,” said Joy Hogan Rozman, CCME president and chief executive officer. “She brings wealth of knowledge in health care business development and operations that will serve CCME well in its continued growth.”
Copeland has over 25 years of experience in health care operations that includes managed care and health policy; health management and government affairs; and external relations strategy and brand ambassador.
“I am delighted to be at CCME, with over 34 years of experience in health care quality improvement and review services,” said Copeland. “Together, with CCME’s exceptional staff, we will continue to impact health care quality and further expand our programs.”
Her most recent position was regional vice president for community operations at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She has also held various positions at North Carolina Council of Community Programs and the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
Copeland received a master of business administration degree from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a bachelor of arts degree in statistical research methods, sociology, from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
