Copeland Named Senior Vice President of Operations

The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME), a nonprofit health care quality consultancy, is pleased to announce the promotion of Yvonne Copeland, MBA to Senior Vice President of Operations. Copeland joined CCME in 2017 as the Vice President of Operations.

Copeland has over 25 years of nonprofit leadership and healthcare experience including managed care administration, quality improvement operations, behavioral health policy, government relations, and association management. Prior to joining CCME, she served as Regional Vice President for Community Operations at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Copeland represented LME/MCOs and behavioral health providers in her respective roles as Executive Director of the North Carolina Council of Community Programs and Director of Policy and Continuing Education of the National Association of Social Workers – New Jersey Chapter.

Copeland received a Master of Business Administration degree from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistical Research Methods, Sociology, from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
